Gerald Clements is a dedicated advocate and 25-year CML care partner for Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) patients and their families. He co-founded the CML Buster Foundation in 2019 to support & empower CML patients and their care partners and support cancer research. Gerald’s efforts have been instrumental in raising awareness and focus on improving the quality of life for those affected by the disease globally. His commitment to the CML community is evident in his active involvement in advocacy, research, and support services for over 23 years. Gerald’s work has not only benefited the CML community but has also contributed to the broader goal of supporting global access for this and other rare challenging diseases.  He and his organization as “CML Patient Exerts” advised skateholders on many Panels, PIPs, PACs, Working Groups, Councils, and Task Groups, Presentations and manuscripts addressing the unmet needs of their community over the past 23 years.
